MarketClock Privacy Policy

Who we are

MarketClock is a macOS app developed by Shamshad Zaheer and published through Codehub Care, San Jose, California ("we", "us"). This policy covers the MarketClock app and its desktop widget.

Information we collect

None. MarketClock does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information or usage data. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising or crash-reporting code, and it makes no network requests.

Information stored on your Mac

Your settings, such as which sessions are enabled, custom session names and times, colors and alert preferences, are saved only on your Mac in the app's own storage. They are shared between the app and its widget through a private App Group container on the same Mac. We cannot see this information.

Session alerts are scheduled locally with macOS notifications. The optional Launch at login setting is managed by macOS.

Deleting MarketClock removes its app data from your Mac.

Apple

When you download MarketClock from the Mac App Store, Apple may collect information under its own privacy policy. If you have opted in to share app analytics or crash reports with developers in your Mac's settings, Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous statistics. We do not receive information that identifies you.

Contacting support

If you email us for help, we use your email address and what you send only to reply to you. We do not add you to any mailing list, and you can ask us to delete the conversation at any time.

Children

MarketClock is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Because the app collects no data, any change that would start collecting data would be announced here before it takes effect.
